Building Surveys

A building survey (RICS level 3 equivalent) is the most comprehensive report of its kind. It provides you with an in-depth analysis of the property’s condition including advice on defects, repairs and maintenance options. Depending on your requirements, we can also include cost estimates for repair works to help you understand the financial implications.

This type of survey is essential for older properties (pre-1930’s), larger or unusual buildings, altered buildings, or buildings of non-standard construction. It’s also recommended if you are planning any major work to the property.

The survey report includes; a detailed description of the construction and condition of each element of the property, diagnosis of defects, advice on repairs and maintenance, together with an overall summary assessment including condition ratings, repairs and suggested further investigations.

Following report issue, our service also includes a follow up telephone/video call as standard to discuss your survey and ensure you fully understand the contents of your report.
